Shine the Light Screening

Please join us for a screening and discussion of The Mask You Live In, a powerful documentary that highlights the issues dealt with by boys and young men as they navigate peer group pressure, adult expectations, conflict, authentic friendships, identity, and what it means to be a “real” man in today’s society. The Mask You Live In explores how our narrow definition of masculinity is harming our boys, men, and society at large and unveils what we can do about it.

 

The documentary has received 15 awards including selections for the Sundance Film Festival, APHA Film Festival, American Film Showcase, and Cinequest Film Festival.
