As a seasoned litigator with extensive experience helping businesses and individuals resolve real-world commercial disputes in both litigation and arbitration settings, Neal Meinzer understands the practical considerations of dispute resolution. He considers his role as a counselor to clients to be just as important as the role of courtroom advocate. Neal’s practice entails zealously representing clients embroiled in a broad range of commercial disputes, which may run the gamut from assisting clients with contractual disputes, representing business men and women with internal partnership disputes, representing property owners enforcing development rights against overreaching municipalities, and all points in between. Over the last two decades, Neal has garnered substantial experience in the construction and real estate development industries, representing plaintiff and defendant developers, home builders, home owners, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers in an equally diverse range of disputes including defect claims, mechanic's lien disputes, delay/completion issues and construction trust fund battles.
Before joining Waller, Neal was a partner with Taube Summers Harrison Taylor Meinzer Brown, LLP, a preeminent civil litigation and bankruptcy boutique firm in Austin, Texas.
When Neal is not reaping the benefits of (and taking credit for) the amazing parenting skills of Amber, his beautiful and supportive wife, and wrangling their three wonderful (usually) children, Neal heads south at every opportunity to wade in the therapeutic shallow waters of Baffin Bay in search of the ever-elusive trophy speckled trout. Neal also enjoys hunting, Longhorns’ sports and laughing at the ridiculous things his children are prone to say.
