G. Scott Rayson

When it comes to the areas of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate relocations, securities, finance, and health law, companies depend on Scott Rayson for his in-depth knowledge and experience. Scott focuses his practice primarily on the acquisitions and divestiture of businesses, including hospitals and other healthcare businesses.

With extensive experience in negotiating and implementing tax incentives for companies wishing to relocate or develop new facilities, Scott has worked with some of the largest publicly traded and privately held companies across all industries. These representative facilities include:

Scott has also worked with clients on matters that include joint ventures between proprietary and tax exempt organizations. Recently, he served as lead counsel in the acquisition of a hospital by a joint venture between an investor-owned hospital company and a university medical center.

A natural leader, Scott has been a speaker at seminars sponsored by both the Health Law Section of the American Bar Association and the American Health Lawyers Association regarding various business transactions among healthcare organizations. If Scott were not practicing law, he would be an architect. He likes to "tinker" and invent things, outside of the office. He and his wife enjoy attending all of the various activities of their children, which include, lacrosse, artistry, plays and performances.
