Michelle Parsons implements and manages Waller’s associate recruiting and hiring activities across all practice areas in the firm’s four offices. Michelle’s primary focus is the recruitment of entry-level associates and the management of the firm’s summer associate program. Her experience as a practicing attorney and as a law school admissions officer provides Michelle with unique firsthand insight into the individual qualities needed for professional development and achievement at Waller.
Michelle earned her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 2012. While at Cumberland, Michelle was a member of the Trial Board. In addition, she served as a teaching assistant for the Director of the Lawyering Skills and Legal Research Program. Following her 2L year, Michelle worked as a legal intern for the District Attorney General's Office for the 20th Judicial District of Tennessee. After law school, Michelle practiced family law as an associate with McCarter & Beauchamp, PLLC. She began her legal recruiting career in 2014 as the Belmont University College of Law admissions coordinator. Michelle joined Waller in the summer of 2016.
Michelle enjoys traveling with her husband, reading, and spending time with her black lab and Great Dane mix, Winston.
