Nate Bailey

A registered patent attorney, Nate Bailey focuses on acquiring and enforcing intellectual property rights in the areas of patent, trademark and copyright law, including federal district court litigation and proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Nate’s practice focuses primarily on intellectual property litigation, and he has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in jurisdictions across the United States. With undergraduate degrees in physics and chemistry and a master’s degree in electrical engineering, Nate is able to assist clients with IP matters involving virtually any technology and any technical field. Earlier in his career, Nate worked at the Trial Division of the Patent Trial and Appeal Board at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  While at the USPTO, he worked in multiple technological areas, including electrical, computer, mechanical and chemical arts.  At the USPTO, Nate twice earned the USPTO's Special Achievement Award for Superior Performance, and he was ranked as the #1 Patent Attorney in quality ratings at the PTAB during his final fiscal year. Nate also previously practiced with a patent boutique firm in the Washington, D.C. area, where he participated in all aspects of IP litigation.
