Martin F. Schubert

Marty Schubert provides counsel to healthcare providers, private equity firms and other investors in transactional matters, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities offerings, and private equity financings. He also assists banks and financial services companies with corporate governance and regulatory compliance issues.

Prior to joining Waller, Marty gained valuable experience as a U.S. associate in the London office of Linklaters LLP. In this role, he served as either issuer's or underwriters' counsel on numerous Rule 144A equity and debt securities offerings.

A native Chicagoan, Marty is an avid sports fan who roots for Chicago teams (Sox, not Cubs) and the English Premier League’s Tottenham Hotspur F.C. from his days in London. He also enjoys playing on the Waller softball and basketball teams, and enjoys participating in local 5k and 10k road races.
